CAPE Mentors

The problem: Schools are unable to tackle poverty, poor mental health, increased social care intervention and institutional racism present within society today. Children impacted by these factors outside of school face a greater risk of failing to attain five or more GCSE grades at 4 or above, being permanently excluded, entering the criminal justice system or becoming socially isolated.

Our vision: Children impacted by these factors receive quality and thorough support needed to achieve success (e.g. attaining five or more GCSE grades at 4 or above, not being permanently excluded, not entering the criminal justice system and not becoming socially isolated).

Our solution: Qualified teachers and trained mentors doing whatever it takes to ensure all children can achieve success.

Our beliefs: All children have the potential to be great. Through developing relationships built in trust, consistency and love we know we can drive sustainable change in behaviour.
